KISS Lö PEAR - Liquid Cake III.

Style: (Pear Pie inspirited) PASTRY Sour Ale + Tonka Beans

Kiss Lö Pear is the third release in our Liquid Cake series, inspired this time by a freshly baked pear pie. Pear is one of our favourite fruits—yet one of the hardest to work with in beer, because its flavour is notoriously shy without using artificial aromas (and we don’t use any).

We still took on the challenge: we layered real pears with pie-like spices such as vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and of course our signature tonka bean that makes every LöWOLF pastry beer unmistakably “LöWOLF-ish.” A touch of lactose adds a silky, slightly sweet and dessert-like body.

The result? We think it turned out beautifully. Go ahead and Kiss the Pear - I mean Kiss Lö Pear!
