Kiss L\u00f6 Pear is the third release in our Liquid Cake series, inspired this time by a freshly baked pear pie. Pear is one of our favourite fruits\u2014yet one of the hardest to work with in beer, because its flavour is notoriously shy without using artificial aromas (and we don\u2019t use any).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n We still took on the challenge: we layered real pears with pie-like spices such as vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and of course our signature tonka bean that makes every L\u00f6WOLF pastry beer unmistakably \u201cL\u00f6WOLF-ish.\u201d A touch of lactose adds a silky, slightly sweet and dessert-like body.<\/p>\n The result? We think it turned out beautifully.
