Lö’MOONGRASS is the SIXTH member of the LöWOLF “HOPPY JUICE” series. No, we didn’t harvest drinkable grass from the moon. We simply supported one of our favorite American hops, Citra, with a dose of lemon balm. The result speaks for itself. We definitely recommend it to lovers of the style. .
We previously had a great beer with Citra hops, called Citra Coast. Now we created a little bit twisted version of that. While Citra Coast was made with KVEIK yeast, this one was made with a unique yeast combination that brings out the fruitiness nicely. We added a much more lemon balm to this batch. The result is a very easy-to-drink hoppy juice. Don’t miss it either, especially if you like the style!

The 8th release in the LöWOLF "HOPPY JUICE" series is the realization of a long-time dream: a Hawaii-inspired HAZY IPA we’ve named ALMOST HAWAII. Our goal was to evoke the taste of Hawaii using only hops and yeast—with a touch of hibiscus for extra flair. The result speaks for itself. A must-try for fans of the style!
A long-time dream has finally come true.
We've been wanting to try our favorite hop trio together for ages, but until now, we never managed to get all three at the same time. But finally — we did it!
Nectaron, El Dorado, Sabro – ALMOST HAWAII.
Our goal was to capture the flavor of Hawaii (without using actual fruit), relying solely on hops. For this, we chose this tropical hop trio and paired it with a yeast strain that perfectly complements the concept. We also added a pinch of hibiscus — just for style — and a touch of lactose for a smooth, silky mouthfeel.
So how did it turn out? ALMOST HAWAII!!!
Its aroma — thanks to the Sabro — has a hint of coconut, while the flavor is bursting with pineapple, peach, and other juicy tropical notes from the hops and yeast. The lactose rounds it all out with a velvety finish.
